The release clause in France and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has been revealed, according to reports in Spain, putting some of the world's biggest teams on high alert.

  • Griezmann has become one of the most sought after players on the planet after stand out performances at Euro 2016 and becoming a crucial player for the Madrid side. Now it has been revealed that the figure that clubs would have to pay to get hold of Griezmann is around £95 million.

Manchester United have made their interest in the Frenchman known recently, as Jose Mourinho looks to return success to Old Trafford, with reports saying that he would be allocated the iconic number seven shirt. In order to do so, United would have to break the all time transfer record to bring the forward to the Premier league.

Chelsea are another side that are said to be interested in the services of Griezmann, and with rumours growing that Diego Costa may be departing Stamford Bridge in a big money move, the funds and position in the starting lineup may become available for Antonio Conte to make the move.

Atletico's Madrid rivals Real will also be looking to get hold of Griezmann, meaning that a bidding war could commence if he decides he would like to leave, which would result in the highest ever transfer fee.
