Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will reportedly revive his interest in Arturo Vidal at the end of the campaign. The Chilean is currently plying his trade with German giants Bayern Munich.
Vidal, 29, had been linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge earlier in the month before manager Carlo Ancelotti rubbished the claims.
According to The Sun, Conte will return for his former player in the summer with the Blues ready to sanction a £57m deal for his services.
Vidal is said to be taking English lessons, and he could be expected to link up the Blues once they have the guarantee of Champions League football.
Conte had held a fruitful relationship with Vidal during their time at Juventus (2011-14), and his arrival could pave way for the exit of one of Cesc Fabregas or Nemanja Matic in the summer.
