Everton are pushing to land the signature of Chelsea striker Armando Broja during the summer transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit had a difficult 2023/24 campaign in the Premier League after they were docked eight points for breaching PSR limits.
Despite this, they managed to avoid relegation with ease. Dominic Calvert-Lewin found some late season form, but the club want an upgrade.
According to Ben Jacobs, Toffees manager Sean Dyche is pushing to sign Broja and talks are already underway between the clubs.
It is added that a package of around £30m could be agreed for a transfer, though the Toffees are likely to pay the fee over several years.
Broja spent the second half of last season on loan with Fulham where he was a back-up player behind Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez.
He was promised regular playing time by manager Marco Silva, but his scenario changed due to Muniz's fantastic scoring form.
Aside from Everton, Monaco are also keen on landing Broja.
