Morata's days are numbered

Madrid name their price for Morata

31 January 2017 - 08:06

Former Juventus striker, Alvaro Morata, has been told by Florentino Perez that he can leave Real Madrid but only for the right offer.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • The 24-year-old Spaniard has been in and out of the first team due to injuries and also Karim Benzema being the preferred first choice striker. Morata's performances has still been impressive this season even though most appearances have been from the bench. He has scored six(6) goals in fourteen(14) La Liga matches.

Real Madrid head coach, Zinedine Zidane, has not hidden the idea of always selectselecting Karim Benzema as his number one striker. He also recently blocked a move for Borussia Dortmund's striker, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, after the player was offered to Madrid due to the availability of Benzema.

Chelsea are favorites to land the Spaniard with Chelsea's manager, Antonio Conte, identifying him as his number one target in the summer.

Real Madrid rates Morata at £50m. Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the player. Morata has told close family and friends that he regrets returning to Madrid and wants to move in the summer.
