Javier Hernandez to make MLS move?

12 February 2017 - 07:19

Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will reportedly be offered the chance to MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the season.

  • Chelsea captain for Man City game confirmed
  • Chelsea star set to submit transfer request
  • The 28-year-old has been in good form for Bayer Leverkusen since his move from Old Trafford 18 months ago.

ESPN Deportes claims that Galaxy are hoping to lure the Mexico international to California in the wake of the departures of Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard - the latter having retired from the game.

Chicharito has netted an impressive tally of 25 goals over his short stint with the German club, and he is said to be 'happy' to play Champions League football.

However, with the club on the decline ahead of next season, he could yet accept a &pound12m annual package with Galaxy in the summer.

Bayer Leverkusen would be willing to accept offers of around &pound21m for Hernandez when the transfer window reopens in July.
