Franck Kessie drops huge EPL hint

24 February 2017 - 06:03

Atalanta BC midfielder Franck Kessie has dropped a huge hint that he could be plying his trade in England next season. Manchester United and Chelsea are leading the pursuit for his signature.

  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya
  • Juventus and Roma to battle for 20yo Arsenal star

  • The Ivory Coast international has been in top form the Serie A outfit this season, and this has seen them propel up to fifth in the league standings, six points off the Champions League positions.

A recent hint from teammate Alejandro Gomez suggested that the midfielder had agreed to join AS Roma, but Kessie insists this is not the case.

United are, for now, the dream club for the midfield anchorman, while a move to Chelsea is still a possibility, according to the player.

He said, via Tuttomercato: "I did not hear any rumours around Roma, as I was at the Africa Cup of Nations and so focused only on playing."

"I like the Premier League and in particular Manchester United, the club I dream of playing for. Chelsea? That is also a big club, nobody would turn them down, but I dream of United."

Kessie, whose play is often likened to Manchester City's Yaya Toure, has notched six goals and an assist during the league campaign.
