Antoine Griezmann hints at Man Utd move?

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has told close friend Paul Pogba that he sees his future at Manchester United.

  • The France international is said to hold a close relationship with his fellow compatriot, who joined the Red Devils from Juventus in a world-record £89m deal last summer.

    According to The Star, the 25-year-old has confessed to Pogba that United are the only side he would leave Atleti for in the future.

    United have been tipped to trigger the player's £85m release clause in the summer, but it is said that Atleti could stall the move for a further year by offering him a potential extension.

    Manager Diego Simeone is due to leave Vicente Calderon in the summer of 2018, and there is a hint that Griezmann will probably wait until the Argentine's exit.

    Despite Atleti's patching form this season, Griezmann has impressed with 17 goals in all competitions for the club.

    Next up, the Capital outfit host Barcelona in what could be a season-defining for the latter in the La Liga race.
