Chile international Alexis Sanchez has decided to part ways with Arsenal this summer with a return to Spain being on his radar.
Europa League holders Sevilla are currently favourites to land the attacker while Atletico Madrid are not far off in the pursuit.
Alexis, 28, has been reluctant to extend his contract since the start of the season, and it is understood that he could leave the club regardless of the future of Arsene Wenger.
Reports earlier suggested that Alexis' future could be dependent on Wenger's next move, but according to The Star, the attacker has made his mind up for a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Alexis, whose contract expires in June 2018, was initially demanding a £200,000-a-week extension, but it now appears that he is no longer concerned over the contractual status.
The former Barcelona star was immensely frustrated with the 5-1 Champions League thumping at the hands of Bayern Munich, and that result has urged him to push through an exit this summer.
Irrespective of that, Alexis is on course for his best season in an Arsenal shirt, having already notched 20 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.
