  • The French footballer has transformed for the Europa league holders since arriving from English club Stoke City in the summer of 2015.

Recent speculation suggested that the 28-year-old has inked a one-year extension to his existing Sevilla contract - due to expire in 2019 - in order to up his buy-out clause.

However, The Mirror claims that no such agreement has been put in place and the Congolese-born star is free to leave Seville, should one of the big clubs come forward to match his &pound26m escape clause.

The former Blackburn Rovers man will seek to end Leicester City's hopes of reaching the quarter-final of the Champions League when his side take on the Foxes in the last 16, second-leg, holding a 2-1 advantage.

N'Zonzi, who has recently earned comparisons with Arsenal great Patrick Vieira is an outside candidate to make Didier Deschamps' Les Bleus for the upcoming internationals Luxembourg and Spain.
