Arsenal could keep both Ozil and Sanchez, if they do this

Premier League giants Arsenal could keep hold of both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez beyond the summer, should they be willing to match their demands of around £300,000-a-week.

  • Man Utd eyeing move for Chelsea defensive duo?
  • Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Newcastle, Rashford starts

  • The duo have been in a contract standoff since the turn of the year, but it appears that Ozil has the intent to stay at the Emirates next season.

According to The Independent, the north London club are eager to secure long-term deals for both Ozil and Sanchez, but they will have to come close to their hefty £300,000-a-week demands - which would put them on par with Manchester United's Paul Pogba, who is the Premier League's highest-paid player.

Ozil has struggled to replicate last season's form with just nine goals and eight assists this term. On the other hand, Sanchez had had his best campaign to date having been involved in 35 goals/assists in as many games.

Arsenal will face off against Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA Cup, and the club will be desperate to lift the famous old trophy for the third time in four seasons in order to better their chances of securing the futures of their key players.
