Preview: Reading vs Bolton

02 February 2008 - 11:55

Two out of form teams go head to head as Reading and Bolton collide at the Madejski Stadium. The loss of Anelka has severely changed Bolton's luck whilst Reading's five straight defeats continues their terrible form.

  • Gary Neville breaks silence on Ruben Amorim
  • Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brentford, Estevao absent

  • Injuries and Suspensions

Prolific striker Dave Kitson could play after a bout of flu in midweek, but Ibrahima Sonko is unlikely to return from Ghana in time, after Senegal were knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Reading haven't won since the 2-1 home success over Sunderland on December 22 but Bolton are especially terrible away from the Reebok having failed to register a single league win and this is the perfect opportunity for Steve Coppell's men to get back to winning ways.

    Reading 1-0 Bolton

A rescue three points for Steve Coppell here as Bolton come to town. It'll still be a dire game though as both sides battle away from Premiership mediocrity.
