Everton manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that he is unsure whether Romelu Lukaku's future will lie at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Toffees this campaign, and he is currently their top scorer as well as the Premier League's with 24 goals.
In spite of this, the Belgium international has turned down a fresh contract at Goodison as he feels the Toffees are far off from competing for trophies on a regular basis.
Lukaku has been linked with a whole host of European clubs over the past month, but Koeman does not know whether he will keep him beyond the current campaign.
"I don't know. We will see what happens at the end of the season. We like to keep the best players but we know that it is difficult. I don't know if it is possible to keep them at the moment," he is quoted as saying on TalkSPORT.
Lukaku will take on his former side Chelsea in the Premier League over the weekend, and he will keen to impress Antonio Conte, who is said to have an eye on his services.
