Spain international Cesc Fabregas has told Chelsea that he is not keen on leaving the English capital during the summer transfer window.

  • Arsenal & Chelsea battling to sign Ajax defender

  • The World Cup winner has had limited first-team action under Antonio Conte this season after having made just 10 Premier League starts.

Recent speculation suggested that the 29-year-old could link up with the Rossoneri in the summer with the new Chinese owners willing to pay up a £30m for his signature.

However, The London Evening Standard suggests that Fabregas will decline a move to the Serie A as he is content to stay put in London, where his family is settled.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal man has managed to amass six goals and 10 assists in all competitions for Chelsea despite his restricted role this term.

His position with the national team remains the only concern as of now, and he will seek to put things right with an extended run with the Premier League leaders next season.
