Monaco teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe has continuously impressed spectators this season, attracting interest from some of the world's biggest clubs. With the summer transfer window approaching, Mbappe looks certain to leave Monaco, with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City revealing today how much they are willing to pay for the eighteen year old.Â
City's local rivals Manchester United reportedly had a £72 million bid rejected for Mbappe recently, with the Ligue 1 club wanting a figure closer to £100 million. French outlet Le10 report today that Manchester City are willing to pay £94 million for the young Frenchman, which would shatter the current world record transfer fee, an even bigger feat considering that Mbappe is still only eighteen years old.Â
Alongside the two Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are all considering making an offer, which could drive the price up even more if a bidding war commences.Â
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he visited Mbappe last year, in an attempt to take him to North London. If Wenger finally does sign him, it is certain to be for a much higher price than it would have been a year ago.Â
