Walker may be set to swap North London for Manchester

Tottenham willing to listen to offers for Walker

05 May 2017 - 11:53

Despite becoming a key member of the ever improving Tottenham Hotspur team, Kyle Walker looks set to leave White Hart Lane this summer. The unsettled full back has doubts about his Tottenham career, and Spurs may now be willing to cash in on him.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • England right back Kyle Walker has reportedly become unsettled at Tottenham recently, with an ongoing disagreement with manager Mauricio Pochettino seeing him removed from the starting lineup.

Premier League rivals Manchester City have made no secret of their interest in signing Walker at the end of the season, with Pep Guardiola keen to add more homegrown talent to his squad,

Tottenham have been reluctant to let him go, but these latest developments suggest that they may have changed their mind. With Walker being unsettled at the club, and the fact that he would almost certainly earn a higher wage at Manchester City, Spurs face having an unhappy player in their ranks if they block a move.

StandardSport today reports that Tottenham will consider offers from clubs, aslong as their £35 million valuation of Walker is met. With City posing a threat to any future Tottenham title challenges, it is unlikely that they will let one of their players move for a penny less than they want for him.
