Inter could double Pochettinos salary

Pochettino's success at Tottenham is seeing him linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe

Inter could double Pochettino's salary

12 May 2017 - 08:09

Inter Milan are on the hunt for a new manager, with the new owners expressing that they want to bring a big name to the club, in a hope that they can get the club back to it's former glory. It appears that it will be difficult for the Italian giants to get Antonio Conte, which has increased the likelihood of them making a move for Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino.

  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Sky Sports Italia has reported that whilst Pochettino is not the first name on the owner's shortlist, he is still highly rated by the club and will be seriously considered. Pochettino has been in charge of a Spurs team that continues to improve and the North London club will be desperate to keep hold of him.

Pochettino has showed no signs of wanting to leave, but with a big transfer budget available, and reports that Inter would be willing to double his current salary, the Argentinian manager would not be blamed for at least considering the option of a move to the San Siro.

The same report suggests that if Pochettino does leave the club, Tottenhham would turn to Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe to replace him. Howe is one of the highest rated English managers at the moment, with many expecting that he will get one of the biggest roles in the English games at some point in the future.
