  • Reports from multiple news outlets indicate that Iheanacho has told his agent that he would like to leave Man City at the next available opportunity. Having been linked with a move to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, it appears that time is running out for Iheanacho at City and the striker will look to leave this summer to boost his chances of regular first team action.

The youngster has been effective as a forward whenever called up into the first team squad by City, but the recent good form of Gabriel Jesus means that Iheanacho is unlikely to stay put and wait for much longer.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that a new striker will be amongst his top transfer targets once the transfer window opens, with Iheanacho certainly a name high up on that list. The Nigerian's contract with City ends in 2019.
