Manchester United are reportedly in advanced discussions to secure the services of highly-rated Monaco player Bernardo Silva this summer.
The Portugal international has had a top season for the Principality outfit, contributing eight goals and nine assists en route to the Ligue 1 - the first for the club in 17 years.
United boss Jose Mourinho is understood to have sent scouts to keep a close watch on the attacker in recent months, and according to France Football, the French champions have received an offer which they simply can't refuse.
Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the player dubbed the 'Little Messi' but Silva is understood to be angling towards a move to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are believed to have tabled a sum of around £70m with the promise of a significant wage hike on his arrival to the club.
Jose Mourinho shares the same agent as Silva in Jorge Mendes, and this appears to have eased United's pursuit of the 22-year-old ahead of their rivals.
