Eden Hazard would consider Real Madrid move

05 June 2017 - 05:55

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard would consider a potential move to Real Madrid, should they lodge a formal approach during the summer transfer window.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • The Belgium international, who is currently nursing an ankle injury, was the main catalyst towards the Blues' Premier League triumph last term.

Hazard contributed 16 goals and six assists for the west London giants as they managed to clinch their fifth Premier League title - the first under Italian boss Antonio Conte.

Recent speculation has suggested that Hazard could be the main target for Los Blancos this summer, and the player himself admits that he would invite interest from the European champions.

"Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer. I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League. But Chelsea's goal is to win the Champions League as well. Honestly, I do not know what will happen," he told Sky Sports News.

In spite of this, Hazard is hopeful of challenging for the Champions League with Chelsea with his contract only due to expire in the summer of 2020.

Chelsea could face a huge blow ahead of the new season after Hazard appeared to sustain a fracture on his ankle in training with Belgium, which has ruled him out for at least two months.
