West Ham United are lining up a potential attempt to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the current transfer window. The France international struggled to establish himself as a regular starter last season.
Giroud, 30, bagged 16 goals during the previous campaign although he was regularly used from the substitutes' bench.
The former Montpellier man made just 11 league starts for the Gunners last term, but he is unlikely to settle for a similar role following his exploits for France in recent days.
