Danny Rose wanted by Man City

Rose set for City move?

Danny Rose wanted by Man City

19 June 2017 - 18:27

After Man City reportedly slipped out of the race to sign Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker, it is understood that the Citizens have turned their attentions to a different Spurs defender. City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly been in contact with Spurs regarding a move for a separate England international.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts
  • Defender Danny Rose had his breakout season for Tottenham last year and has in recent times enjoyed England international recognition on a regular basis. Man City are now rumoured to have tabled a &pound18 million bid for Rose.

Bayern Munich appear to be frontrunners in their chase to sign right-back Kyle Walker, thus City has decided to make a bid for left-back Rose instead.

Man City have been busy revamping their squad ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and have released a whole host of former first-team squad players for the new season.

Despite having yet to have brought in replacements, Manchester City have been linked with several big names on the transfer market.

Danny Rose is believed to be Pep Guardiola's preferred signing for the new season and talks will begin in July regarding a potential move for Rose.
