Algeria international Islam Slimani could leave Leicester City just a year after his arrival from Primeira Liga giants Sporting.
The 29-year-old joined the Foxes last summer after they coughed up a club-record £28m to secure his signature prior to the transfer deadline.
Slimani has since struggled to nail a regular spot in the starting lineup, and he was a regular substitute under Craig Shakespeare in the final stages of the season.
According to The Sun, Sporting could seek to sign their former marksman in the summer, should top scorer Bas Dost switch clubs in the summer.
Dost bagged 34 goals in 30 league outings for Sporting last season, and his efforts have captured the interest of Newcastle United and Stoke City
Only Barcelona's Lionel Messi had bagged more goals than the Netherlands international across Europe's top divisions.
Slimani had been the subject of a £35m move to the China last winter, but the Foxes may have to accept a far lesser sum due to his reduced gametime in the backend of the season.
