Arsenal legend-turned-pundit Thierry Henry is impressed with the showing of Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini this term.
The Belgium international has been utilised as a regular from the bench under Jose Mourinho this term, and he made his first start during United's 4-0 thumping of ex-club Everton on Sunday afternoon.
Henry has worked in close quarters with Fellaini at international level with Belgium, and he believes that the 29-year-old will always give his best when called upon.
"What you have with Marouane Fellaini is that he will give you his best every single time," he told Sky Sports on Sunday.
"He’s an honest player. He’s not going to be Paul Scholes, we know that. [But] he gives 100 per cent and he does ever so well."
Fellaini was initially expected to be heading through the exit door in the summer with the likes of Galatasaray and Trabzonspor keen on his services.
However, Jose Mourinho intervened to block the Belgian's exit as he considers him as a key part of his first-team plans.
Meanwhile, The Mirror claims that United have begun talks over a contract extension with Fellaini with his current deal due to expire in the summer of 2018.
Fellaini could start in his second match on the trot on Wednesday night when United host Burton Albion in the third round of the League Cup.
