Parry rejects Owen link

19 August 2007 - 12:17

Liverpool's chief executive Rick Parry has rejected rumours that Michael Owen could soon be making a move back to Anfield from Premiership rivals Newcastle.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The player has £9m release clause in his contract which Liverpool were rumoured to be set to meet. However, Parry responded to reports, "Certainly not in this transfer window and I very much doubt in the next one,"

Liverpool already have 5 top class strikers and the addition of a sixth will now be very unlikely.
