Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly emerged as shock contenders to pursue the services of goalkeeper David de Gea from Manchester United next summer.

Los Blancos have continued to monitor his progress in recent seasons, and according to Le10 Sport, Les Parisiens have earmarked De Gea as their next big-money acquisition.

De Gea has less than two years left on his present United deal, but the club have the option of a one-year extension through a clause on his contract.
