David de Gea on Paris Saint-Germain radar?

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly emerged as shock contenders to pursue the services of goalkeeper David de Gea from Manchester United next summer. 

The Spain international has been regularly tipped to leave Old Trafford ever since his failed move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2015.

Los Blancos have continued to monitor his progress in recent seasons, and according to Le10 Sport, Les Parisiens have earmarked De Gea as their next big-money acquisition.

Both Alphonse Areola and Kevin Trapp have made notable errors between the sticks, and the Paris giants are said to be eyeing a world-class goalkeeper, who could take them to Champions League success.

De Gea has less than two years left on his present United deal, but the club have the option of a one-year extension through a clause on his contract.

Manchester United secured their return to the Champions League via their Europa League triumph last term, and the Spaniard is, for now, content plying his trade under Jose Mourinho.
