  • The Brazil youth international joined the Mestalla outfit on a temporary basis in September, and he has since contributed one goal and two assists in eight La Liga games.

Mourinho has previously cited that he was disappointed by the midfielder's decision to leave Old Trafford, and according to Plaza Deportivo, the 54-year-old is planning to end Pereira's Valencia stint in January.

Nevertheless, Pereira is keen on completing another season in the Spanish top-flight after having impressed in his 12-month loan spell with Granada last term.

Pereira made his first-team debut for the Red Devils during Louis van Gaal's time in charge, but he has since managed just 11 appearances across all competitions.

The versatile midfielder left Manchester United in the hope of making a reputation at Los Che, and he has so far been rewarded with the Spanish outfit lying second in La Liga.
