Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly joined the pursuit of Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho. The 25-year-old was heavily tipped to join Barcelona during the summer, but the Reds rebuffed multiple approaches from the Spanish giants.
According to Don Balon, the Old Lady could rival the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona as they look to lure the Brazil international from the clutches of Liverpool.
The Reds turned down a maximum bid of £114m plus add-ons from Barcelona in the summer, but their resolve could be tested further with Juventus said to be planning a club-record £155m bid.
Juventus have failed to pass the final hurdle after reaching the final of the Champions League in two of the last three seasons, and they are keen on recruiting a world-class midfielder who could make the difference.
Coutinho will be ineligible for this season's Champions League having already participated for Jurgen Klopp's side, and a move could potentially be made at the end of the campaign.
