Morata wants Ramirez at Stamford Bridge

Alvaro Morata advises Antonio Conte to pursue Everton striker

09 November 2017 - 11:09

Alvaro Morata has reportedly urged Chelsea boss Antonio Conte to pursue a move for Everton's Sandro Ramirez in the New Year.

  • Chelsea to spend £325m on six signings under Xabi Alonso
  • Chelsea to sign £50m goalkeeper to replace Sanchez?

  • The Italian head coach is said to be eyeing a new marksman in January as he is still not convinced with the abilities of Michy Batshuayi.

The Belgian has scored crucial goals this term while playing backup to Alvaro Morata but he tends to struggle when offered the chance to start a Premier League game.

According to Don Balon, Morata has advised Conte to consider a move for close mate Ramirez, who he believes could be the perfect fit in the Chelsea ranks.

The 22-year-old sealed his move to Goodison Park from Malaga earlier in the summer, and he has since failed to find the net in 11 appearances across all competitions.

In comparison, Morata has fared exceptionally well for the Blues with eight goals and three assists in just 14 outings. He recently scored with a bullet header which handed Chelsea an important win over Manchester United.
