Serie A giants Juventus are prepared to discuss a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool's Emre Can when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Germany international will enter the final six months of his contract, and he is therefore permitted to negotiate terms with a club overseas.
According to Goal.com, Can remains the prime target in Max Allegri's shortlist as he looks to find a potential replacement for the injury-plagued Sami Khedira.
Can is also on the radar of Manchester City and ex-club Bayern Munich, but the Bianconeri remain favourites to secure his services, having expressed their interest at an advanced stage.
The Confederations Cup winner has been a regular in the Reds lineup this campaign, but talks over an extension have not progressed with the club reluctant to bow to his wage demands.
Can is currently said to demand a weekly package of nearly £100,000-a-week, but the Anfield outfit are only willing to offer a minor increase on his current £55,000 package.
