Isco wants wage hike to consider Premier League move

24 March 2018 - 10:57

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is reportedly eyeing a significant increase on his current wages, if he is to pursue a move to the Premier League at the end of the season. The Spain international is of interest to both Chelsea and Manchester City ahead of this summer's transfer window.

  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Isco, 25, was one of Los Blancos' standout performers towards the end of last season, and this earned him a fresh contract with the club until the summer of 2022.

Despite this, his future remains uncertain beyond the current campaign, having found himself on the bench on a couple of occasions under Zinedine Zidane this term.

According to Diario Gol, the former Malaga man would consider a switch to the Premier League, if he is assured of a significant rise on his present £110,000-a-week wages.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard has been heavily tipped for a move to Real Madrid, and it is suggested that the Blues could be tempted to discuss a potential part-exchange deal in the summer.
