Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was pleased with the performance of Paul Pogba against Manchester City in the Manchester derby.
The Red Devils had been outplayed by their noisy neighbours during the first-half, and they were probably lucky to have not conceded more than two goals.
Despite this, United turned the game in the second-half with two strikes from Pogba in the space of 97 seconds and Chris Smalling wrapped up an improbable victory with a header few minutes later.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho was content with Pogba's reply during the derby after suggestions made by Pep Guardiola earlier in the week, he said:
"I wasn't asking Paul to improve because I was happy with what he was doing in the first half, then he scored two great goals. If his agent was offering him to some clubs, the price has now gone up a lot."
The victory sees United 13 points behind the Citizens, and this is likely to prolong City's title celebrations for another week at the least, if things go their way.
