Manchester United have reportedly been offered the green light to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid with Manchester City not interested in a deal for the Champions League winner.
According to The Guardian, Pep Guardiola is not keen on signing Bale from the European champions and this sees United as the clear favourites to sign the Welshman, if he opts for a Premier League comeback.
Bale, who has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, scored a stunning match-winning brace for Los Blancos against Liverpool last night and this ensured that his team won the Champions League for the third straight occasion.
Despite this, the Welshman seemed unsatisfied with the limited gametime under manager Zinedine Zidane and admitted that a summer exit could be a possibility.
Manchester United are yet to make any approach for Bale this summer but Mourinho has previously suggested that he would fight with every club to bring the Welshman onboard.
