Arsenal have reportedly planned a meeting with Ever Banega's agent this week as they seek to lure the Argentine midfielder to the Emirates this summer.
The Gunners are presently close to signing Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira but manager Unai Emery is still said to be keen on a reunion with former player Ever Banega.
According to Gazza Mercato, officials from the north London club are due to meet Banega's representative this week as they seek to thrash out a potential agreement.
Sevilla have yet to name a price for the former Inter Milan man but it is reported that a fee of around £10m could be sufficient to do business for the Argentine.
Banega is presently with Argentina at the summer World Cup in Russia and he most-recently featured in their shock 1-1 draw against Iceland on Saturday.
Arsenal have so far completed the signings of Stephan Lichsteiner and Bernd Leno but Sokratis Papastathopoulous and Torreira are expected to join the club in the next couple of weeks.
