Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly prepared to offer a final chance to Daniel Sturridge to prove his credentials with the Merseyside giants.
The 28-year-old fell out-of-favour under Klopp during the first half of the previous campaign and he was thereafter loaned out to the Baggies at the turn of the year.
However, his spell at the Hawthorns was equally disappointing with a hamstring injury reducing him to just six appearances and this spread speculation of him leaving the Reds.
Despite this, The Telegraph claims that Klopp still values the former Chelsea man and he is prepared to give him one final chance to prove his worth in Merseyside.
Nevertheless, the Reds are said to have no plans of extending his current £120,000 a week contract which is due to expire at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
Sturridge has been with the Reds for the past five seasons and during this period, he has notched 68 goals in 133 appearances across all competitions.
