Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could reportedly be heading through the exit door after spending a solitary season in the English top-flight.
Morata joined the Blues with a huge reputation from Real Madrid last summer and he started off the season in grand fashion with six goals in as many appearances.
However, the 25-year-old thereafter struggled with his form and fitness and he could only add nine more goals to his tally in his remaining 42 games across all competitions.
As a result, his position at Stamford Bridge has been a topic of discussion over the past few weeks and according to Gianluca di Marzio, he could make the switch to the Serie A this summer.
AC Milan are understood to have already opened discussions with the Blues regarding a summer move but there remains for both clubs to come to terms over a transfer sum before the deal is sanctioned.
Chelsea are aiming to recoup the entire £58m sum splashed on the Spaniard last summer with Juventus' Gonzalo Higuain earmarked as the ideal replacement in the frontline.
