Italy international Matteo Darmian has confirmed that he would like to part ways with Manchester United before the transfer window comes to a close.
The versatile defender has been used regularly in pre-season following an injury to right-back Antonio Valencia but he has nevertheless made his mind up for a fresh challenge.
In a report covered by M.E.N, Darmian admitted that Valencia is in the treatment room after a calf problem but he is confident that the club-captain will recover in time for the new league season.
As a result, he is weighing up his options before the international transfer deadline next month with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli all said to have expressed an interest in his signature.
Darmian largely played as a back-up for the full-back positions last term and he ended the campaign with just eight league appearances - five of which came from the starting XI.
