Brazil international David Luiz has indicated that he is content at Chelsea and has no plans of parting ways with the Blues before the transfer deadline.
Luiz only managed 10 league appearances over the course of the previous campaign and this spread speculation that he could seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.
However, with Maurizio Sarri replacing Antonio Conte at the helm, Luiz has had a change of thought and he is now prepared to stick with the Blues for the upcoming season.
"I came back to Chelsea to stay here. When I took my decision to come back here from Paris it was to win the Premier League and do something again with Chelsea. I am very happy here," he told Sky Sport News.
Luiz has so far featured in both of the Blues' pre-season games under Sarri and he is a strong candidate to start the opening Premier League game at Huddersfield Town next month.
