Everton have completed the signing of Barcelona defender Lucas Digne for a fee, reported to be £22m.
The 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal and has said that he is ready to excite the fans with quality football.
“Everton is a big club with a great history. I want to play games, win games and excite the fans with the quality of our football,” Digne told evertontv, Mirror Football reports.
The signing of the defender means that the Toffees have made their second player addition of the summer after buying Richarlison from Watford for £50m.
Everton started the transfer season slowly, but are gradually getting all the players they need to face the new season.
Everton are still in the hunt for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo with the Old Trafford side placing a £30m price tag on the Argentine.
Everton have also been linked with Arsenal's Danny Welbeck and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.
Everton are currently in pre-season training, preparing for their first Premier League game against Wolves.
