Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has reportedly agreed personal terms with Besiktas, though the Turkish club are yet to finalise a transfer fee for his services.
The Colombia international has supposedly become the club's third-choice shot-stopper with Petr Cech and summer signing Bernd Leno ahead of him in the pecking order.
According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners are prepared to part ways with Ospina before the end of the month but they are said to prefer a permanent exit rather than a loan move.
As a result, talks are ongoing between the Gunners and Besiktas but the 29-year-old appears likely to join the Istanbul outfit before the Turkish transfer deadline closes on August 31.
Arsenal begin their league campaign with a home game against reigning champions Manchester City and manager Unai Emery will surely be desperate to make an instant impression with the team.
Pep Guardiola's side got the better of Arsenal last term with three goals scored in each of their meetings and the Gunners will be hoping to give a better contest this time around.
