Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has said that his target in the Premier League this season is to have at least 40 points.
The 2016 league champions begin their season with a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
Leicester's official website reports him saying the following: “For me, the most important thing is getting to 40 points to start, then we can build from there."
Manchester United won last season's fixture at Old Trafford 2-0 with goals from Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini.
Leicester will be facing United with defender Harry Maguire still with the squad after the Red Devils failed with two bids to bring the England World Cup star to the Theatre of Dreams.
After an inconsistent pre-season, and complaints from Jose Mourinho about a poor transfer window, it will be interesting to see how United approach the game.
United failed to sign a single central defender despite being linked with several, including Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin on transfer deadline day in England.
