Manchester United have reportedly excluded Alexis Sanchez from the travelling squad for Sunday's Premier League meeting against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Chile international trained alongside his teammates through the entire week but he has now been excluded from the travelling party without any specified reason, according to M.E.N.
Aside from Sanchez, Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia have also not been picked for the Brighton clash after their recent recovery from their respective injuries, though Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera could be involved.
Lingard was excluded from the season opener versus Leicester City due to his reduced fitness. On the other hand, Herrera had experienced a tight hamstring in the final pre-season game versus Bayern Munich and Mourinho was unwilling to take a risk with him for the curtain raiser.
Manchester United suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion during their previous visit to the Falmer Stadium and Mourinho will want to take nothing other than three points this time around.
