French World Cup winning midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly told his agent that he wants to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window. The Manchester United star has informed his agent that he is unhappy and seeking a move to Spain or a return to Italy.

  • The former Juventus midfielder won the World Cup with France this summer and returned back for training early and had been included in Man Utd's first Premier League game of the season.

However, with tensions high at Old Trafford and ongoing speculation over the long-term future of manager Jose Mourinho, it appears that Paul Pogba could be set to drop yet another bombshell at United.

It is understood that Pogba favours a move to Spain but would also consider a move to Italy. Pogba would prefer a transfer to Real Madrid, who are reportedly seeking a long-term replacement for Luka Modric; whilst Juventus - Pogba's former club - have also expressed interest in the talented midfielder.

Man Utd paid £80 million for Paul Pogba's transfer, the player's second spell at the club.
