Son Heung-min rules out Tottenham Hotspur exit

22 September 2018 - 23:43

South Korea international Son Heung-min has ruled out a potential winter exit from Tottenham Hotspur amid the recent speculation linking him with Bayern Munich.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • A recent report from the Calciomercato suggested that the Bavarian giants are monitoring the attacker's progress and they could make a January attempt to secure his services.

However, Son has now clarified that his long-term future lies with the north London side and he is clearly happy with the proceedings, he said: "I recently renewed my contract with Tottenham. I believe I need to focus on here to do more for the team. I'm happy at Tottenham."

Son has recently returned to club duty with Spurs after his participation for South Korea at the Asian games where he won the gold medal required to bypass the mandatory military service in his nation.

He has contributed nearly 50 goals during his three seasons with Spurs. He is currently contracted to the club until 2023 after being rewarded with a new contract during the summer.
