England international Luke Shaw has reportedly ended doubts regarding his club future by penning a fresh five-year contract with Manchester United.
The 23-year-old found himself out of contention under Jose Mourinho last term where Ashley Young commanded a regular role on the left side of the defence.
However, with the new season, Shaw has been one of United's most consistent performers and Sky Sport News reports that the defender has now committed his future to the club for the next five seasons.
Shaw's previous deal was scheduled to expire at the end of the 2018/19 campaign and there were previously suggestions that he could fancy a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur.
He has featured in seven of the club's eight league matches this term and his only absence came during the Premier League game against Watford where he was left out of the squad after a minor head concussion suffered on England duty.
