Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said that the Blues have plenty of concerns with the tactical side of their game after they suffered a rather embarrassing 3-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues had gone in to the game with an 18-match unbeaten streak across all competitions but that record came under pressure within the opening six minutes after a wonderful opener from Dele Alli.
Thereafter, Spurs continued dominating the game with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min adding to the scoresheet before Olivier Giroud bagged the sole consolation for the Blues off the bench five minutes from time.
Speaking after the game, Sarri had no positives to take from the cross-town derby and suggested that the Blues have plenty of concerns to rectify ahead of the festive schedule to follow.
"It’s clear, I knew we had a lot of problems to solve and I think today was clear for everybody. We played very badly. We have a lot of problems to solve but I knew that before the match," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
With the defeat, Chelsea have dropped to fourth in the standings and their advantage over fifth-placed Arsenal could reduce to one point, should the Gunners win on the road to Bournemouth on Sunday.
