Barcelona have reportedly dropped Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt from their summer transfer shortlist amid interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus.
The Catalan giants have been widely fancied to pursue the Netherlands international in the summer after recently reaching a pre-contract agreement to sign Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.Â
However, Don Balon suggests that may not be the case with the Spanish champions reluctant to go on a bidding war to pursue the highly-rated centre-back.
De Ligt was initially valued at around the £40m mark but his valuation has significantly increased in recent months amid the additional interest from the likes of Juventus.
Still, Ernesto Valverde's side have another Ajax player on their radar with Andre Onana wanted to replace Jasper Cillessen as the back-up goalkeeper for the next campaign and beyond.
Cillessen has been with the Blaugrana since the summer of 2016 but he is expected to leave the Camp Nou in the near future in the search for regular playing time.
