Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will be sidelined for 'some weeks' after picking up a hamstring injury during the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash against Napoli.

  • The Wales international has been one of the standout performers for the side during the backend of the season, but it appears that he could be sidelined for a considerable period of time after the latest setback.

In a report covered by BBC Sport, Emery acknowledged that Ramsey has picked up another muscular problem and that should keep him out for the forthcoming run of fixtures.

When asked whether the midfielder may have played his final match for the north London giants, the Spaniard tactician was unsure that would be the case, he said: 'I don't know'.

A minor hamstring concern could potentially keep Ramsey out of action for four weeks at the least. In this case, the Welshman could make his final appearance in the Europa League final, should the club get there.

The Welshman has already agreed to join Juventus on a Bosman move when his Gunners contract expires at the end of the season. He has made over 360 appearances for Arsenal to date.
