Chelsea are said to have suffered a fresh injury blow with N'Golo Kante picking up a knee problem in the lead-up to the Europa League final against Arsenal.

  • Chelsea to accept low-ball offers for Conor Gallagher?
  • Arsenal midfielder withdraws from international duty

  • The France international recently joined the Blues in training following a short-term lay-off with a hamstring concern but it appears that he has suffered a fresh injury setback.

According to Goal.com, Kante has suffered a fresh knee injury and he is now regarded as a major doubt for the Europa League final against arch-rivals Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Aside from Kante, Jorginho is said to have picked up a knock in training last week but he is expected to be fit ahead of the crunch European final against the Gunners in Baku.

Should Kante remain on the sidelines, Chelsea could have a midfield of Jorginho, Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic to face the Gunners, considering Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also out with a serious Achilles injury picked up in a charity game earlier this month.
