Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire is reportedly keen on making the switch to Manchester City this summer despite the concrete interest from Manchester United.
The England international has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in the past year and the club have not managed to find the breakthrough with the Foxes in terms of a transfer agreement.
According to The Sun, both United and City are set to make bids for the former Hull City man but the defender is said to hold the preference of joining the latter.
The same report claims that the Premier League holders are only willing to pay £60m for the defender and the Foxes may have to lower their £80m to push through a deal.
Maguire, who began his career with Sheffield United, stands the chance of earning a bumper £280,000-a-week salary with the Citizens while also plying his trade in the Champions League for the first time in his career.
